Most tools are either too cheap and weak on multi-currency, or too expensive and built for accountants. Mavoin sits in the middle — simple enough for owners, correct enough for Indian compliance.
GST without the ERP

Any currency, INR books

Priced for solos
No ₹1,800–6,000/mo suite tax for basic multi-currency. Built for freelancers and one-person shops.

Invoicing built for how Indian freelancers actually bill
Three jobs, done correctly by default — so the invoice your client gets and the numbers your CA sees are right the first time.
GST-correct tax invoices for Indian clients
Every India invoice comes out as a proper GST tax invoice — CGST + SGST for in-state clients or IGST for inter-state — with the right SAC/HSN code, place of supply, your supplier GSTIN, and invoice numbers that stay in the consecutive series the GST rules require. The defaults handle the hard parts, so you send a compliant invoice without thinking about tax modes on every line.
Multi-currency invoices for clients abroad
Billing a client in the US, Europe or the UK? Raise the invoice in USD, EUR or GBP with your bank details on it, ready to be paid by direct transfer — no payment gateway skimming a percentage. If you’ve filed a Letter of Undertaking (LUT), Mavoin treats the export of services as zero-rated; if you haven’t, it adds IGST correctly so nothing surprises you at filing time.
Your books stay in INR
Foreign invoices capture the FX rate on the invoice date and store the equivalent INR amount, so your outstanding and received totals are always in rupees. You get clean multi-currency billing for freelancers and solo founders — without the weight, or the price, of a full accounting suite.
New
The invoice is the easy part. The rest is now here too.
Raising the invoice takes a minute. What costs you a weekend every quarter is the paperwork around it — the dates, the bank proof, and the email to your CA. Mavoin does that part now.
Every GST and TDS date, worked out from how you actually file
Tell Mavoin once whether you file monthly or under QRMP, whether you deduct TDS, whether you pay advance tax. It works out the rest — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, IFF, PMT-06, the TDS challan and the quarterly statement, advance tax, your annual LUT renewal — including the ones people get wrong, like tax deducted in March being due on 30 April rather than the 7th, or quarterly GSTR-3B falling on the 22nd in Gujarat and the 24th in Delhi. Tick things off as you file, and get an email a week, three days and a day before each one.
Your FIRCs, kept with the invoice they belong to
An export invoice on its own proves nothing. The bank’s FIRC, the inward remittance advice, the eBRC — that is what a refund under LUT rests on, and what you go hunting for eight months later. Upload them against the invoice and they stay there, in private storage only you can reach. Mavoin also tells you which paid exports still have no proof on file, before your CA asks.
Send your accountant the whole month in one press
Open the month that just closed and Mavoin has already assembled it: every invoice you raised, every bank document filed against it, and anything still missing. Fill the gaps, review the list of files by name, and send. Each invoice and document arrives as its own attachment, because an accountant opens attachments — and the month’s numbers sit in the email body so they can see where you stand without opening anything.
To be clear about what this is: Mavoin shows you the standing statutory dates and hands your CA the paperwork. It does not file your returns, and the government moves deadlines several times a year — so treat it as a prompt to act, and confirm with your CA.

Founder note
I built Mavoin because the existing tools were built for someone else.
One person, Ahmedabad, mostly overseas clients — which means every invoice has to satisfy Indian GST and go out in dollars or euros. Zoho was an accounting suite for a job that needed an invoice; Refrens leans agency, Wave skips India, Tally is for retailers. So I built the one I wanted, and I've billed from it since day one.
Questions, answered
Things Indian freelancers and founders ask before trying.
Is Mavoin GST-compliant?+
Yes. Mavoin generates GST tax invoices for India clients — with CGST+SGST or IGST depending on place of supply, plus SAC/HSN, place of supply, supplier GSTIN, and invoice numbering that follows the GST consecutive-series rule.
I'm mid-year with an existing invoice series. Can I continue it?+
Yes. Set your prefix and starting number once in Settings — for example JS/25-26/ starting at 088 — and Mavoin continues your series from there. Your numbering stays consecutive across the financial year, which is what the GST rule requires and what your CA will check.
I bill US clients in USD — how do INR books work?+
Pick USD on the invoice. Mavoin captures the FX rate on the invoice date and stores the equivalent INR amount in your books. Reports always show INR totals for outstanding and received.
Do I need a Letter of Undertaking (LUT)?+
Only for exporting services without IGST. If you’ve filed an LUT, toggle it on once in Settings and Mavoin will treat foreign invoices as zero-rated. If you haven’t, Mavoin will add IGST correctly so your CA can file it back.
Does Mavoin track my GST and TDS deadlines?+
Yes. Tell Mavoin once whether you file monthly or under QRMP, whether you deduct TDS and whether you pay advance tax, and it works out your dates — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, IFF, PMT-06, the TDS challan and quarterly statement, advance tax, and your annual LUT renewal. It emails you a week, three days and a day before each one. These are the standing statutory dates: the government extends them several times a year and Mavoin does not track those extensions, so treat it as a prompt to act and confirm with your CA.
Does Mavoin file my returns for me?+
No. Mavoin does not file anything with the GST or income-tax portal, and it isn't a substitute for your CA. What it does is tell you what's due and hand your accountant the paperwork — the invoices and the bank documents — so the filing itself is quick.
Where do I keep my FIRC and other bank documents?+
On the invoice they belong to. Upload the FIRC, the inward remittance advice, the eBRC or the SWIFT copy against an export invoice and it stays with it, in private storage only you can reach. A consolidated advice that covers several invoices can stay unlinked and still goes to your CA with the month. Mavoin flags paid exports that have no proof on file yet.
How do I send everything to my CA each month?+
Open the CA package page, pick the month, and Mavoin has already assembled it — every invoice you raised and every bank document filed against it, with anything missing flagged. You review the list of files by name and press send. Each invoice and document arrives as its own attachment rather than a zip, and a summary of the month sits in the email body.
I'm switching from Zoho — can I bring my data?+
Yes. Export your clients from Zoho as CSV and import them into Mavoin in one step — name, email, address, GSTIN and currency map across. Most people keep their historical invoices in Zoho and start fresh in Mavoin at the start of a quarter, which also keeps your invoice series clean. Full CSV export of your clients, invoices and payments is coming soon; until then, email hello@mavoin.com any time and we'll hand your data over. Your data is yours.
Can I get all my data out?+
Yes, and it isn't a paid feature. Every finalised invoice is a PDF you can download on any plan, as many times as you like. For everything at once — invoices, line items, clients — email hello@mavoin.com today and we'll get it to you; self-serve export is being built. There is no lock-in, and the full position on what's shipped and what isn't is on the trust page at https://www.mavoin.com/trust.
Can my CA export my data?+
Same answer — email hello@mavoin.com and we'll send clients, invoices and payments over, or give your CA the PDFs directly. Self-serve CSV/Excel export is being built. It's your data, and we never hold it hostage.
What happens if I hit 100 invoices on Starter?+
Starter covers 100 invoices a month. When you reach the limit, upgrade to Unlimited (₹299/mo) in one click to keep creating invoices — the change applies right away. If you regularly send more than 100 a month, Unlimited is the plan built for you.
What happens when my 30-day trial ends?+
Nothing disappears. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only — you keep full access to every invoice you created and can download any PDF at any time. You just can't create new ones until you pick a plan. We never take a card during the trial, so there's nothing to cancel.
Does Mavoin collect payments for me?+
No, and that's deliberate. Your bank details go on the invoice and your client pays you directly — no gateway between you and your money, no percentage taken, no settlement delay. For most solo freelancers, especially on foreign invoices where gateway fees and FX spreads stack up, direct bank transfer is simply cheaper. Mark it paid in Mavoin and your outstanding updates.
Why isn’t there a free forever plan?+
Mavoin is bootstrapped, not VC-funded — so there's no investor money to burn on a free tier today and claw back later. You pay a fair price, I keep the lights on, and the pricing stays put: ₹199/mo for most solos, ₹299/mo for unlimited. The 30-day trial is the full product, no strings.
Where is my data stored?+
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1), inside India, with every record scoped to your business. PDFs are generated on our servers and stored privately — your browser is never the source of truth.
Do you file GSTR for me?+
Not yet — and deliberately. Mavoin gives you the invoices and books; your CA does the actual filing. Direct GSTR submission is something we'll add once the invoice engine has earned that trust.
Simple invoices for people who run businesses, not books.
GST-ready. Multi-currency. Built so you can bill clients and get back to work.
